The first All Superheroes Must Die surprised me, and I wish I had known about it at its release to champion it from the beginning. I can’t put Last Superhero in the same category, but it’s certainly no Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 (2002)—yeah, you’re probably mad I reminded you of the existence of that one, and I don’t blame you.

Another film from indie film maker Jason Trost, this is the sequel to all superheroes must die. Watching the 1st ASMD film helps, but what's good about this movie is that you don't HAVE to for it to make sense. Takes it time with backstory, and the plot is well executed.

All Superheroes Must Die premiered in Toronto, Ontario, at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival on October 26, 2011. The film received overwhelmingly negative reviews. A sequel, All Superheroes Must Die 2: The Last Superhero, was released on Jason Trost's YouTube channel.
